Thursday 6th Bus Tour Begins- 8.30am departure Forth Rail Bridge, Kingdom of Fyfe, Falkland Palace and Garden, Lunch in St Andrews. Drive through Perth to Pitlochry.
Friday 7th AM Explore Pitlochry
PM Travel to Aberlour through Cairngorms National Park

The Speyside
The DOWANS HOTEL
Socializing, scenery and the “village” style were common throughout the trip. Our first long stay was in Abelour a famous Whiskey region known as the Speyside group of Whiskeys
We did manage to get a game of golf in as the boys were inspired by the St Andrews Golf Club visit.

What a magnificent old building which was formerly the castle for this region. Of course I inherited the smallest bedroom at the top of 3 flights of stairs
Whiskey tasting available at Dowans From 5 pounds a shot to 500 pounds for a 40 year old McClallans. An amazing collection and also included a whiskey from Esperance in WA
Avienmore visit train ride and tasted whiskey from Speyside distillery.
Tuesday 11th on the way to Fort William

Fort William train to Malaig cross the viaduct return via coach with Caitlin. Ferry to Skye from Malaig.
Neptune’s Ladder in Fort William – 8 locks
Friday 14
Drive and scenery. Arrive at the Bowerrie in Oban
Golf at Glencruitten Golf Club drinks then split up for meals etc then drinks in the conservatory
Saturday 15
Walk around town quiet until “shinty” game at 3:00pm then wine and cheese dinner together in conservatory with singing
Sunday 16th
Drive to the ferry and onto Islay. Drive around sights, visit two distillery’s. Meal at pub
Monday 17th
Lagavulin tour followed by walk to Ardbeg then Laphroaig
Tuesday 18th
off to Glasgow long travelling day. Smaller boat arrived with z as number of travellers having to remain on Islay. Stopped at Luss on edge of Loch Loman. Arrive at hotel (another Leonardo’s) at 5:00pm and say goodbye to Caitlin.

Wednesday our own thing. Paul and Loretto depart Some hop on hop off, Neil at ED, Fletch on discovery walk, Maz university , Sue and Klaus Dundee tartan. Drinks at Molly Malones followed by Indian diner. Fletch and Neil to the Arlington for the destiny stone
